Strip Surgery versus FUE

•           Need long hair to hide the scars.

•           Donor pool is confined.

•           Natural-looking hair line is not promised.

What is FUE?

FUE, generally called follicular unit extraction, is a microsurgical hair repair system wherein the surgeon uses a pen-like handheld device to evacuate the follicular units one by one from the donor area. This symbolizes that the donor area can be any part of the scalp where hair is still adequate, including better hair from the scruff of the neck or behind the ears. The extracted hair from donor area are then inserted one by one to the balding area of the patient. FUE in Pakistan is a modern technique and opted by nearly 90% of the patients as it promises no scar and one can return to daily routine rite after the surgery.

Advantages of FUE

•           It is a less prominent strategy than strip surgery.

•           It requires no stitches, staples, or bandages.

•           Microscopic incisions means that typically it offers no scars.

•           Natural-looking hair lines can be built utilizing fine hairs.

•           No one is rejected as a poor applicant as hair can be extracted from body also.

•           Excellent skilled hands are required to perform this surgery.

•           FUE usually prompts higher patient satisfaction.

Disadvantages of FUE

•           Requires extra time.

•           It may be difficult to find a qualified FUE pro locally.
